Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Le Petite Fork Catering website (lepetifork.com or any related domain, the “Site”), submitting a catering inquiry, or entering into a service agreement with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use this Site or our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, clients, prospective clients, and any other users of our Site and services.
2. Services
Le Petite Fork Catering provides food service and catering solutions for a range of clients, including but not limited to:
- Educational institutions and school programs
- Senior living and assisted living facilities
- Corporate offices and organizations
- Nonprofit and community foundations
- Private events
All services are subject to the availability of our team, equipment, and kitchen capacity. We reserve the right to decline or limit service at our discretion.
3. Quotes, Proposals & Service Agreements
Any quote or proposal provided by Le Petite Fork Catering is valid for 14 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise specified. A quote does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have signed a Service Agreement.
Final pricing is confirmed in the Service Agreement, which will detail:
- Scope of services, menu, and delivery details
- Agreed pricing and payment schedule
- Any applicable minimums or volume commitments
- Special accommodations, dietary requirements, or custom requests
Any modifications to a signed agreement must be requested in writing and are subject to availability and pricing adjustments.
4. Deposits & Payment Terms
For event and one-time catering engagements, a deposit may be required to secure the date. Standard deposit terms are as follows:
- A deposit of 50% of the estimated total is due upon signing of the Service Agreement
- The remaining balance is due no later than 3 business days prior to the service date unless otherwise agreed
For recurring programs (corporate, school, or institutional), payment terms are outlined in the individual service agreement, typically net 15 or net 30.
We accept payments via check, ACH/bank transfer, and major credit cards. Credit card payments may be subject to a processing fee.
Accounts past due by more than 10 business days may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. Continued non-payment may result in suspension or termination of services.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
One-Time or Event Catering
Cancellation terms are based on the number of days prior to the scheduled service date:
- 14 or more days prior: Full deposit refunded, less any non-recoverable costs already incurred
- 7 to 13 days prior: 50% of the deposit is refunded
- Fewer than 7 days prior: No refund on the deposit; the client is responsible for any non-recoverable food or labor costs already committed
Recurring Programs
Recurring service agreements may be terminated with written notice of at least 30 days. Termination with less than 30 days’ notice may result in a cancellation fee equal to one billing cycle.
Le Petite Fork Catering reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to circumstances beyond our control (see Force Majeure). In such cases, clients will receive a full refund or credit toward a rescheduled date.
6. Delivery, Access & Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for ensuring that our team has:
- Safe, timely access to the service location
- Adequate space for food preparation, setup, and service when applicable
